The tray of crotch with inlaid decoration of a fine trellis. It opens with a large drawer in the waist revealing an adjustable shelf forming a desk on one side and a mirror on the other side, flanked by two flaps, with inlaid decoration of crosses and dots. The arched uprights in chased and gilded bronze are topped with fruit baskets and support a moulding with an openwork gallery. In the belt, a frieze of foliage animated by yellow fauns leaning against musical trophies. Tapered feet. Louis XVI style, late 19th century. (Cracks on the crotch plate).
