A very interesting amateur collection of articles all published in the Revue des Deux mondes, documenting the evolution of the French navy under the July Monarchy and the Second Empire. Tiny tear to one nerve. Spine a little faded. Nice copy with the bookplate of Emmanuel Mancel.
