(circa 1930), small oblong in-4 (22 x 32 cm), [23] ff. n. ch. of soft black cardboard containing 162 small (6 x 9 cm) or large (17 x 23 cm) photographic prints, some of them flying, marbled tan cloth, smooth mute spine (period binding). The subjects represented are mainly views of landscapes, ports, cities and monuments (fortifications, souks, mosques, churches), as well as shots of archaeological remains (one can clearly see views of Petra and one of the Krak des Chevaliers). But we also have military groups, including a set of beautiful photographs of Senegalese riflemen stationed in the Mandate, in uniform or civilian clothes.
