Potier [printed by Charles Jouaust], 1859, in-12, havana half-chagrin, ribbed spine decorated with cold fillets (period binding). 674 issues described, prices marked. This is the first library assembled by Baron Jean-Joseph-Sosthène de La Roche Lacarelle (1816-1887), which was sold en bloc to bookseller Antoine-Laurent Potier (1806-1881). In just a few years, the Baron had succeeded in assembling a library composed exclusively of rarities, reminiscent in some respects of Charles Nodier's cabinet, which he had taken as his model.
