Illustrated with 40 etchings by Gustave Leheutre, including a frontispiece and numerous headpieces and endpapers depicting landscapes of the towns of Saintes and La Rochelle for the most part. Edition of 117 copies on Arches laid paper, this one no. 54, specially printed for M. Lavallette-Simon.
