Fine antique silk Caesarea. Asia Minor. Turkey. Late 19th/early 20th century. Silk velvet on silk foundation. (Some oxidation and natural wear, restorations). Beige field decorated with a large central floral medallion in the shape of an elongated diamond, four brick spandrels with flowery garlands, triple borders, the main one ivory with a floral bulb sowing. 117 x 85 cm.
