Original and quite rare Gendge Caucasus Late 19th - early 20th century. Dimensions 234 x 122 cm. Wool velvet on wool foundation. Fairly good overall condition. Mosaic-decorated with rows of geometrically stylized floral bulbs in polychrome. Beautiful ivory main border with interlacing fine crenellated stems inlaid with multicolored floral buds in the form of stylized diamonds.
