First edition of the version given of these memories of Mary Stuart's intimate adviser, by Abbé François-Marie de Marsy (1714-1763), who had already written a Histoire de Marie Stuart (in 1742). Volume III is devoted entirely to an edition of part of this princess's correspondence. A good copy.
