In Chaque maison est une saison, Vieira experiments with a new approach to space of the space in the painting, primordial theme of all his work: in the center, a square the center, a square window pierces the plane of the canvas towards a blue sky space. The one on the left, striated in red of embers, is occulted partially by whites. The artist claims the psychological and strictly personal effect of the colors that she chooses. For Vieira, red embodies winter, home, intimacy. While the blues suggest without question the immensities of the ether. In Every House is a Season, the two essential colors, relegated to their respective spaces their respective spaces (and it is precisely the explanation of the title) are not in chromatic chromatic contradiction but in concertante partition.
